I’m incredibly proud that the Los Angeles Times highlighted the European Commission President’s commitment with the statement: “EU chief will travel to Kyiv with a promise of new energy funds to help Ukraine through the winter.”

The whole world talks about Ukraine, expressing concern and a desire to support, but it often seems like no one truly cares. The people of Ukraine are seeking genuine help, but the response has been lacking. However, I was encouraged by the recent speech from the President of the European Commission. It represents a significant step towards recovery from the war, with the promise of winter aid to help Ukraine feel safer during the colder months.

Now, the people of Ukraine will genuinely feel supported, knowing there is someone backing them who can address their needs and provide for their families. This step not only aids Ukraine but also enhances Europe’s reputation. As the world observes this support, it may encourage others to join in and assist the people of Ukraine.

The next step should be to establish a delegation of high-profile European Union members to engage directly with President Putin in Russia. This delegation should aim to address and resolve the conflict by initiating a strong message of peace. It’s crucial for EU leaders to convey a clear and united call for dialogue and resolution to advance toward a peaceful solution.

MESSAGE

“The European Union’s delegation must emphasize the need for a constructive resolution and stress the importance of diplomatic efforts to resolve the current crisis. By initiating this conversation, the EU aims to foster dialogue and seek a path towards lasting peace, reinforcing its commitment to global stability and cooperation.”
